삼성페이 교통카드 Reasons for Samsung Pay’s transportation card error and how to solve it_In the end

삼성페이 교통카드

Hello

It’s kind Inchu. 😀

삼성페이 교통카드

Today, I’m going to tell you about the reason and solution of the Samsung Pay transportation card error that has been bothering me for about two weeks

I have registered a credit card with Samsung Pay and used it as a postpaid transportation card

I’m sure you use T-money the most, but my card is a little hard to register with T-money, so I used it as cash fee

But about two weeks ago, it suddenly didn’t come out with a voice saying that I didn’t have enough balance

It’s for post-payment, but there’s not enough balance.

When I entered Samsung Pay, there was a notice saying, “Cashbee is temporarily unavailable.”

So first of all, I used the real card to use public transportation

Something happened on my way to work yesterday

I left my physical card at home. What?

Not only do I have no cash when my mobile transportation card is not available, but these days, there are many buses that can’t use cash, so I’m having a mental breakdown

Should I go home again or catch a taxi? My mind went blank for a second

When I checked my wallet, fortunately, there was another card available for public transportation

After many twists and turns, I finally got on the bus, and I thought I should find the cause of the error and solve it because I thought there would be another situation where I left my card

You know, when you’re hooked, you dig in like a mole, right? Yesterday was the day Haha

I found the Samsung Pay transportation card error…

I’ve been looking around for a solution

Looking at the contents that come out when you search for “Samsung Pay transportation card error” on Naver, it seemed that it would be solved by usually rebooting the cell phone or replacing a new USIM.

And if you set the NFC settings properly, you can use it again in most cases

So I rebooted my phone first

Error message seen when accessing Samsung Pay

But I got the same error message as in the picture above

Reboot, fail!

I couldn’t remove the USIM right away, so I checked the NFC setting status

In the case of NFC mode, it was in card mode, and it was continuously available without any problems, but just in case, I changed it to the ‘basic mode’ with a wide range of use

I also entered the contactless payment setting screen, and the basic payment method is the Samsung Pay app, so leave it as it is

Other apps were also checked on the other settings screen, so other apps were unchecked and only Samsung Pay app was checked

After that, I went back to Samsung Pay and checked,

Yes, there’s a familiar sentence [Laughing)

Cashbee is temporarily unavailable

Reboot the device or reattach the USIM

If the problem persists, contact Cashbee Customer Service

I’m starting to get frustrated, and I did a storm search again

As a result, from Android 10 and above, there are stories that the old USIM does not support transportation cards

Well, it’s been good crying

What’s wrong with you, I didn’t touch anything, I think I updated Samsung a while ago, but what went wrong then?

My thoughts bite my tail

Currently, Samsung Pay is doing well without any problems, and there is nothing wrong with anything else, but I don’t want to change the USIM because of this

So, it’s not possible on Samsung Pay, so wouldn’t it be possible on other apps? with that in mind

I downloaded the mobile T-money app and the mobile CashB app

But both of them can’t be installed because of USIM Hahaha

T-money: Due to the carrier policy, your USIM does not support USIM app services on Android 10 or higher. For more information, please contact the carrier’s customer service center.

Cashbee: USIM not supported after Android 10. Please replace it with a USIM that can be applied and use it.

It is similar to Samsung Pay’s notice.

The cause of the error I finally found out

Is there no answer but to change the USIM card?’

I thought about it and called Cashbee’s customer service

(I’m a mole, hahaha)

According to the staff,

Google’s new policy prevents the use of transportation cards with old USIMs. For stability, when Samsung phones were recently updated, they were forced to not use them as old USIMs (all Android phones apply)

Even if you enter the Samsung Pay transportation card registration/termination page, users who use the old USIM cannot cancel or change their cards

It is a phenomenon that mainly occurs to people who are Samsung Pay users and use SKT carriers recently. As far as I know, SKT was the first to reflect Google’s policy

When installing the mobile cashbee application, if a notice saying that it is not available during the installation process, you must change it to a new one to use the mobile transportation card

Before changing the USIM, it is necessary to request the cancellation of the registered card postpaid through the customer center, change it to a new one, and re-register the postpaid card to use it

If you want to delete a card registered with Samsung Pay, you can download and delete the relevant app through a separate link

That’s what they say

I heard that there are a lot of inquiries like this these days “T”

In the case of a postpaid type, the virtual limit is set at 30,000 won, and the limit is restored when used up, but after the update, the limit is not filled again, so the transportation card cannot be used after the 30,000 won limit is used up

That’s why I got a voice saying that I didn’t have enough money if I put in my card

Since I changed my phone without changing USIM, I used the same USIM. I think it’s at least 3-4 years, at most 5-6 years lol

In the end, in order to use mobile cashb or T-money smoothly, it is right that the replacement of USIM is the answer

I requested the cancellation of the postpaid card registered with Samsung Pay while I was connected to the customer center staff

You sent me a link by text and told me that I could delete the card registered on Samsung Pay if I wanted, but I didn’t have to because I didn’t have to if I changed it to a new USIM anyway

The only workaround is to replace USIM

Is there any other option?

It is cumbersome to get a new USIM, and it is inconvenient for people who are already used to Samsung Pay to take pictures with real cards

So I looked it up a little more and I heard that if you use “T-Money Pay,” not mobile T-Money, you can use a transportation card even if it is an old USIM!

I installed the app and started the show

It’s a success!

I downloaded the application, charged the pay money, and used it as a payment right away. I was so happy to hear the beep sound from the entrance to the subway!

I think you can use it like this until you replace it with a new USIM

T-money pay doesn’t charge a fee when charging it. It’s a big advantage

I will also post how to pay for traffic through T-money and how to use it conveniently soon 🙂

Samsung Pay’s transportation card error resolution conclusion

When you can’t use the existing USIM with an Android upgrade,

1. Replace with the new USIM

2. Use without replacing USIM

1) Use physical card

2) Using the T-Money Pay app

There are two fundamental solutions and two suboptimal options

I hope my posting helped you a little bit for those who are stressed out by a sudden error, and I’ll end this article 🙂
