● Hyundai Motor Company ‘Service Center’

Hyundai Motor Company’s ‘Service Center’ is a repair center operated directly by Hyundai Motor Company. The employees are also full-time employees of Hyundai Motor Company, and there are 22 service centers across the country.

 

As it is operated directly by Hyundai Motor Company, the number of centers is not large.

 

The advantage is that you can receive standardized service, and it is recommended that mechanics only repair parts that need repair. The downside is that since the number of directly managed centers is small, you have to make a reservation and the waiting time may take longer than expected.

 

 

● Hyundai Motor Blue Hands

 

Blue Hands is Hyundai Motor Company’s official vehicle maintenance service partner. You can think of it as a service center operated by private businesses and corporations rather than directly managed by Hyundai Motor Company.

 

The advantage is that there are more than 1,400 centers, so it is easily accessible. The disadvantage is that since it is a for-profit center, it may perform more repairs than necessary (personal opinion).

The second method is to make a reservation through Hyundai Motor Company Service Reservation Information (ARS).

 

Official service reservation information: To make a reservation, press the numbers in the order indicated by ARS. You can proceed with the ARS reservation process as follows for in-house use.

 

 

● Service reservation process

1. Telephone connection: 080-600-6000 (ARS ②Maintenance Reservation → ①Reception/Change/Cancellation)

2. Consultant reception: Consultation on malfunction symptoms, desired area, desired date and time

3. Reservation assignment: Assignment to the shortest distance company considering desired area, date, and time (information SMS sent)

4. Advance customer call: Detailed information on location and visit procedure in the reservation assigned service network

5. Vehicle repair: Visit the assigned service network according to the reservation date and time.
