택시운전자격시험 일정Until now, the taxi driving qualification test was being conducted by the Taxi Association, but from January 1 of this year, it has been administered and operated by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
As the operating entity changed, the procedures and contents also changed. The most important change is that it is possible to obtain a taxi driving license in one day through a one-stop service.
By improving the inconveniences that were inconvenient until last year, candidates can apply conveniently and easily and check the results quickly. Starting this year, the changed taxi driver’s license acquisition process will be piloted until February and expanded nationwide from March.
Qualifications for taking the taxi driver qualification test are:
① You must possess a class 2 or higher driver’s license.
② Age limit: 20 years or older
③ Driving experience is more than 1 year, excluding cancellation and suspension periods.
④ For those who have had their taxi driving qualifications revoked, more than one year must have passed.
⑤ The detailed driving aptitude test must meet the new test standards.
The implementing agency was changed from the Taxi Association to the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
The taxi driver qualification test fee is 11,500 won.
The test cycle goes from 1-2 times a month to 4 times a day, and you can only take the exam once a day.
Test locations include 12 permanent test centers including Seoul (Guro), Suwon, Incheon, Chuncheon, Daejeon, Cheongju, Daegu, Busan, Changwon, Ulsan, Gwangju, and Jeonju, as well as Seoul (Nowon), Uijeongbu, Jeju, Sangju, Hwaseong, and Hongseong. It operates six non-permanent testing sites. The permanent testing site operates 4 times a day, and the non-permanent testing site operates 2 to 4 times a week.
The test method will change from the existing paper (PBT) test to a computer (CBT) test.
CBT is an abbreviation for Computer Based Test and refers to a testing method using a computer.
The qualification test requires 80 questions to be answered in 80 minutes. The test subjects are 4 subjects: ① traffic and transportation-related laws, ② safe driving tips, ③ transportation services, and ④ geography. Each question is worth 1.25 points, with a perfect score of 100. If you score over 60 points, you pass. Announcements of successful candidates will be made immediately after the exam ends.
The certificate is issued within 14 to 30 days after paying the fee of 10,000 won. However, this inconvenience has been improved with same-day issuance through a one-stop service starting in 2021.
