In order to engage in the domestic beauty industry, you must undergo a government-recognized examination and obtain approval for a hairdresser’s license. Cosmetologist licenses are divided into four categories: general (hair), skin, and nail art makeup, and each license must be obtained in order to perform procedures in each beauty field or start a business.
If you obtain an associate’s degree or higher in a cosmetology major through the Seoul Hoseo one-day course, you can receive a comprehensive cosmetology license without a separate national certification exam.

Degree holders (cosmetology major/cosmetology major) will be issued a degree certificate by the National Lifelong Education Promotion Agency (Ministry of Education).

In the examination, we prepare a health certificate issued within the last 6 months for issuance of a hairdresser’s license, which contains the required information to prove that you are ‘not a patient with mental illness, contagious tuberculosis, or a person suffering from narcotics, marijuana, or psychotropic drugs.’
Prepare two half-name cards (for attaching your license) and ID.

An issuance fee of 5,500 won is required when issuing a license, and it is issued on the same day.
