annual leave allowance
If a caregiver works more than 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, he or she can receive annual leave or annual leave allowance.
You can calculate annual leave pay per hour by dividing the total working hours in one year and the total annual leave pay that will accrue.
The annual leave allowance (hourly wage) in 2023 is 554 won. Annual leave allowance is generally not applied together with the minimum hourly wage.
4 major insurances and severance pay
If you work more than 60 hours a month, you can sign up for four major insurance policies and accumulate severance pay.
Family care workers work less than 60 hours and are only covered by employment and industrial accident insurance, and are not eligible for weekly vacation allowance or annual leave allowance.
