What is an energy voucher?
Energy vouchers are subsidies provided to energy-vulnerable groups to cover the costs of using energy such as electricity, gas, district heating, kerosene, and LPG. This helps energy-vulnerable groups purchase energy.

Income criteria: Recipients of livelihood, medical, housing, and education benefits (eligible for temporary support in 2022) under the National Basic Living Security Act
Criteria for household member characteristics: The beneficiary or the household member on the resident registration table falls under one of the following: elderly, disabled, infant, pregnant woman, patient with serious illness, patient with rare disease, patient with severe incurable disease, single-parent family, or child-child household (including children in foster care).

How to check 2024 energy voucher balance
Enter personal information: You must enter your name, date of birth, and address. All three of these items must be entered. If any one is missing, the search is not possible. The personal information you enter is collected by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Energy Agency in accordance with laws related to the collection of personal information of energy voucher users.
Balance inquiry: After entering personal information, balance inquiry will be conducted. The viewed balance indicates the available balance of the energy voucher.
