This is because other cards usually offer the largest 10% discount on monthly communication costs (maximum limit of 5,000 won per month). Even if you look at various combinations such as communication fee discount + transportation fee discount, the maximum monthly discount limit is 10,000 won in many cases. One is KB Kookmin Card’s T Premium Card, and the other is Lotte TELLO SE Card.

1. Based on previous month’s performance: at least 300,000 won
2. Benefit: Maximum discount (It doesn’t matter when you combine communication costs with other transportation and shopping benefits.)
3. Comparison of benefits with existing cards: Existing cards only receive a 10% discount on transportation costs, so even if you spend more than 500,000 won a month, you only get a discount of about 7,000 won to 8,000 won a month.
So, after examining all of them, the final choice was ‘Tea Premium’.

However, there was no choice between the two cards. The Lotte Tello se card also reported that the previous month’s performance was 400,000 won.

SKT telecommunication fee discount
The discount amount varies depending on the usage amount section, and the point to pay attention to here is the additional discount conditions.
With this card, no matter what plan you use at SKT, you can receive a discount of 5,000 won as long as you meet the previous month’s performance, but you cannot receive an additional discount if the automatic payment approval amount is less than 55,000 won. So, it is a more advantageous card for those who fall under this condition.
Also, pay attention to the calculations because communication costs and the amount already discounted by Kookmin Card are excluded from the performance.
Last month, I liked that I had completed the previous month’s performance, but unfortunately I can’t receive benefits for a month as the telecommunication fee discount is excluded ㅠ,ㅠ I hope you don’t have the same thing as me…
The annual fee is a bit high, but the discount is huge.

As some of you may be curious, if you compare the two cards briefly, the annual fee is the same and the performance period of the previous month is the same.
The advantage of Tello SE is that the basic discount is large, and the advantage of T-Premium is that the total discount is high when additional benefits are received.

number 1. The ‘approved’ amount of the card must be at least KRW 55,000. One of the things I made a mistake.
My husband’s fee was 65,890 won, but the optional contract was 25% off, so the total card payment amount was 49,417 won, which was not a standard for additional discounts.

what I was worried about
Because of point 1, I thought about whether to raise the rate plan or change the card and receive less telecommunication discounts (other cards usually have a limit of 5,000 won per month), but I thought about whether to receive a total of 10,000 won per month by paying 5,000 won for transportation expenses. My husband wanted to use 200GB of data, so he didn’t want to reduce the plan, so I decided to raise the plan.
In conclusion, choose a tea premium card! Saving 15,000 won in monthly communication costs
So in the end, I was issued a tea premium card, and I will definitely write it down and receive the benefits!
The previous month’s performance is part of fixed expenses, so it can be covered. Instead, I decided to write according to the standard of only 40,000 won. The more you use it, the less efficient it becomes. It is better to use the extra portion with a check card, cash, or Onnuri gift certificate.
So, the communication fee that my husband pays is 75,000 won * 25% discount for optional contract = 56,250 won – 15,000 won for card discount = 41,250 won per month.
I don’t think there’s any reason not to do it if the actual payment amount is more than 55,000 won.
