Commuter Passes can only be used on weekdays, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays. The calculation of the number of days of use excludes Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and the number of times of use is twice a day.

Commuter pass issuance is possible through the website or the KORAIL app. If you are a member, it is easy to use as it is linked with the Korail application. First of all, you can easily find periodic ticket issuance in the ticket section of the Korail website. It is convenient to log in after registering as a member.
The issuance method is very simple. After setting the usage start date, ticket period, train type, direct and transfer, departure and arrival stations, click Search.
As an example, a 10-day round-trip ticket, direct to Seoul and Busan, I checked all types of trains, and ktx direct 406,000 won, via Suwon 331,800 won, via Gupo 366,800 won. Sub-train Saemaeul and Mugunghwa commuter tickets are priced very cheaply compared to ktx.
There is a difference in fares depending on the direct route and the transit area. As for the issuance method, if you click Reservation under Reservation, the issuance method selection will appear. For issuance of smart tickets, there is issuance of smart phone Korail Talk and issuance of MMS mobile phone text messages for those who do not use smartphones.
