Since identity verification is required, you will need a mobile phone in your name. If the mobile phone is not in your name, please sign up using i-PIN authentication.
After entering your personal information, you can immediately check the list of pets registered with you on ‘MyPage’.
Even if you do not enter MyPage, there is a menu right on the home screen as shown below. To obtain an animal registration certificate from Government 24, you must have your pet’s number to print it out, but in the National Animal Protection Information System, you can print it out right after logging in, so use it conveniently when necessary.

After registering an animal, if there is a change in owner, address change, or death or loss of the pet, you must report it within the specified period.
In case of loss, you must report it within 10 days.
Changes in owner, address and phone number, as well as neutering, loss or recovery, death or overseas relocation of a pet must be reported within 30 days.
Failure to report changes will result in a fine of up to 400,000 won, so please report changes as soon as possible.

Recently, a system that allows you to check directly on your mobile phone using electronic wallets has been activated. Please refer to the method below to check it right away.
1. Save the registration certificate issued by the National Animal Protection Information System on your mobile device.
2. Place the animal registration certificate issued by Government 24 in your electronic wallet.
3. Issue it to your Kakao or Naver electronic wallet.
In some cases, registration is not possible due to an inadequate system. Please contact the company that registered your animal and re-check whether it has been registered.
Especially when adopting an abandoned dog, there are many cases where it is impossible to look up the number. In this case, please contact the city hall animal welfare department. If the child is registered with a built-in chip, we will look up the registration number and contact the previous owner. Thanks to this, abandoned puppies can find their families.
