에어컨 전기세 계산 Simple air conditioner electricity bill calculation method

에어컨 전기세 계산Calculating air conditioner electricity bills is surprisingly simple. This is because Naver provides an electricity bill calculator. You can check your estimated electricity bill by checking the power consumption of not only air conditioners but also all home appliances such as TVs, computers, refrigerators, etc. Please follow the steps below.

First, check the rated power consumption of the air conditioner. Before proceeding, you must check how much electricity your home’s air conditioner consumes.

If you look next to the air conditioner, there is a sign according to the Electrical Appliances Safety Management Act and the air conditioning power consumption. Older models only display rated power consumption, but newer products display three types: minimum, medium, and rating. This is because the power consumed varies depending on the cooling intensity.

Here, for ease of calculation, we will calculate the rated power consumption as 1800W.

If you know this, you can easily search on Naver. Search for “electrical appliance usage calculation” in the Naver search bar.

Select Air Conditioner as the product type and enter the rated power consumption as seen on the Air Conditioner sticker. Then, the total monthly usage is displayed. (You can calculate your electricity bill by including other products such as TVs and refrigerators.)

It shows 432 kWh, remember this and click on the “Calculate total usage bill” tab next to “Calculate appliance usage.”

Then, an electricity bill calculator will appear. Please select the usage as residential low pressure (general house) and check if it applies to the large family rate. And if you enter the monthly electricity consumption of the air conditioner that you checked a little while ago, the estimated electricity bill will be 88,430 won.

You can calculate the air conditioner electricity bill like this. Since there are variables such as changes in the air conditioner operation time depending on the internal temperature, wind speed, other electronic devices, etc., the estimated electricity bill can be viewed as a reference.

For reference, the difference between low and high pressure is as follows.
Most homes are low pressure homes.

Electricity bills are not simply calculated based on usage. Various factors are added, and the electricity rate structure is as follows.

Electricity rate = (basic rate + electricity volume rate + climate environment fee + fuel cost adjustment fee) + value-added tax + electric power industry base fund
Climate and environment fees change every year, and fuel cost adjustment fees change every quarter.

Since we do not have to calculate the electricity bill ourselves, we just need to know that it is calculated this way.

In addition, I am uploading an Excel file of the electricity rate table for low-voltage residential use (general houses or apartments) by usage. You can look it up on Naver, but you can also check it directly in the Excel file.

If you check the Excel file above, you can see that the price is the same as when calculated with Naver’s electricity bill calculator.

This is the same as the rate of 88,430 won when entering 432kWh into Naver.

Below is the summer rate table for July and August. Summer rates are cheaper than the original rate. Naver can’t even calculate the summer.

Based on 432kWh usage, it is 20,610 won cheaper than before in July and August.

The summer electricity rate applies only to residential households that are subject to the residential electricity rate, and it is said that the price was lowered due to complaints regarding the progressive rate system. Please note.

Additionally, there is a way to check real-time electricity rates. By installing the Smart KEPCO app on your smartphone and entering the meter number, you can check your home’s real-time electricity bill and the expected electricity bill for this month.

Please check the article below for detailed instructions.
