Traders’ new paid membership, ‘Traders Club’, which is introduced on the 4th, is largely divided into standard and premium levels. Standard Biz (BIZ) and Premium Biz (BIZ) levels are also operated for business customers.
Standard members can sign up for an annual fee of KRW 30,000 (KRW 25,000 for Biz members) and premium members can sign up for an annual fee of KRW 70,000, and for each purchase amount, ‘TR Cash’, which can be used like cash, is 1% for standard members and 2% for premium members Accumulation (accumulation limit of 500,000 won/1 million won, respectively).
‘TR Cash’ is a reward that can be used like cash as the accumulated amount increases as the shopping amount increases. After renewing the ‘Traders Club’ membership, it can be used at Traders stores, and the existing Shinsegae point accumulation benefits are maintained.
In addition, membership customers can purchase Traders’ popular products every month at a special member price, and if they are not satisfied with the membership benefits, they have prepared a ‘member guarantee system’ that returns 100% of the annual fee.
Regular customers who have not signed up for Euro membership can still shop as they do now.
Premium members are also planning to introduce additional benefits of ‘Shinsegae Universe’ in connection with Shinsegae Group’s core offline channels.
Then, the company’s signboard was changed from ‘EMART TRADERS’ to ‘TRADERS WHOLESALE CLUB’. Wholesale means ‘wholesale, bulk, large-scale’.
The official launch of ‘Traders Club’ is on January 1, 2023, and an ‘Early Bird Registration Promotion’ will be held from the 4th to December 31st. During the early bird sign-up period, a special promotion is held to allow existing traders’ excellent customers to sign up for the standard level at a special price, and a welcome voucher (discount coupon) is provided to all other sign-up customers.
For customers who have signed up for Early Bird, special product discounts for members are provided until December 31, and other membership benefits such as ‘TR Cash’ accumulation will be applied from 2023.
