The validity period of H-Coin is 5 years from the date of conversion. Therefore, if you intend to cash in your points, it is recommended that you convert your M-Points into H-Coin and then apply for wire transfer immediately or before the expiry date.
H-Coin cannot be directly transferred to another person, but transfer between family members is possible. If you want to transfer H-Coins between family members, you can transfer M-points and then convert them into H-Coins. However, in the event of the member’s death, it is possible to skip the process of converting points and directly transfer them to family members as H-Coins.
H-Coin can be used like cash at various affiliates such as GS25, Daiso, Lotte Himart, Homeplus, Lotte Mart, Starbucks, Hyundai Oilbank, The Body Shop, and Nature Republic. However, affiliates may change depending on the point of use, and even if available affiliates may not be available at some stores, such as department stores and outlet stores. H-Coin daily use can be checked through the Hyundai Card website or app.
The same M points are accumulated for the amount paid with H-Coin at everyday places. In addition to doing this, it can also be used to deduct credit card usage (apply from the Hyundai Card homepage or app for deduction of credit card usage).
If you cancel the Hyundai Card you are using, the remaining M Points or H-Coins cannot be refunded or cashed back. Therefore, before canceling the card, it is better to use up all the remaining M-points at affiliates, convert them to H-Coin, deduct them from the card payment due in advance, or deposit them into an account under your name for cash.
