I would like to leave a review of Travel Wallet. This time, I visited Nha Trang, Vietnam and used Travel Wallet very well. There is no or little fee, and there is no annual fee, so we recommend issuing it first.

What is Travel Wallet?

You can also withdraw money using an ATM locally and purchase items at VISA card participating stores. Foreign currency payments can also be made through overseas direct purchase sites. Travel Wallet has no annual fee. Since it is not a credit card, issuance and use does not affect your credit rating.

Travel Wallet is a prepaid recharge card that can be thought of as a form of check card, but since it is a card exclusively for foreign currency recharge and overseas payments, it cannot be used in domestic offline stores.

Travel Wallet Benefits
Recharge at the desired exchange rate when you want

I used Travel Wallet in Vietnam. Locally, it was possible to recharge with Vietnamese Dong using a linked account, and ATM withdrawals were also possible. Of course, local card payments were also possible by connecting to Grab.

The currency exchange fee applied when charging is 0%~2.5%
There is no exchange fee for major currencies such as the US, Japan, and Europe. In other words, you can exchange money at the standard trading rate. When exchanging money, the exchange fee is free for major currencies, and the exchange fee is 0.5% to 2.5% for other currencies.

Travel Wallet-Exchange Rate Information
This is what you can see in Travel Wallet exchange rate information. As mentioned above, currency exchange fees are free in the United States, Japan, and Europe, so currency can be exchanged at the standard trading rate. The exchange fee of 0.5% to 2.5% for other currencies also seems to be cheaper than existing currency exchange.

Free refund of remaining amount after use
The remaining amount after use can be refunded in Korean won at the exchange rate at the time of sale without a refund fee. I also tried to refund the remaining money I spent in Vietnam in Korean Won. The entire remaining free balance was refunded.

Free local ATM withdrawal fee
For local ATM withdrawals, withdrawal fees of less than $500 per month are free. However, local ATM fees may apply. I also received information that certain ATM machines were free in Vietnam, so I used them that way, and no fees were incurred. Depending on your travel destination, there may be local ATMs with free ATM fees, so check before using them. If you withdraw more than $500 per month, a 2% fee will be charged.

Limit information
The ATM withdrawal limit is $400 per time and $1,000 per day. The minimum limit when recharging is $50, and the maximum limit is KRW 1.8 million including balance.
