I recently made a Toss Youth card for my daughter and am letting her use it.
It has check card and transportation card functions, so I find it really useful, and my daughter is satisfied with it.
Now, let’s learn about how to issue a Toss Youth Card and how to recharge and use the transportation card.
▯ Things to check before issuing a youth card
1. This card can be made by teenagers between the ages of 7 and under 17, and is for domestic use only.
2. Youth under the age of 14 require the consent of a legal representative.
3. The first time you create a card, it is issued for free, but a 4,000 won fee is charged for reissuing.
4. Use Toss Money by charging it with a prepaid check card.
5. It can be used as a transportation card, but must be charged and used separately from Toss Money.
6. Cards that can be made for teenagers have the same contents as above.
▯Issuance order
Toss Bank is an online bank, and installing the app is required to create a Toss Youth Card.
1. Go to the online store on your child’s cell phone, search for Toss Youth Card, and install it.
2. Sign your child up for the Toss app.
3. Click on the Toss Youth Card in the bottom right corner of the Toss app [All] to apply.
4. Youth Card will be delivered to your mailbox via regular mail, not registered delivery.
5. Once you receive the card, register and use it in the ‘Toss Youth Card’ menu in your child’s Toss app.
▯Online payment method and usage limit
1. When making online payments, you must install the ‘Paybook/ISP’ app, register your card, and select KB Kookmin Card as the card company in the payment window.
2. You can pay up to a holding limit of 500,000 won, a usage limit of up to 500,000 won per day, and up to 2 million won per month.
▯3 ways to recharge transportation cards
Toss Youth Card’s transportation card recharge amount is not included in the Toss Money holding limit of 500,000 won.
1. Recharge with Toss Money on the Toss app
Turn on NFC native mode on your phone.
Toss app → Home → Select transportation card and recharge
2. Recharge with cash at CU & E-Mart 24 convenience stores
The convenience store employee will give you cash and a youth card and ask you to recharge your transportation card.
3. Recharge with cash at Woori Bank and Nonghyup ATMs
Transportation card in the ATM machine → Rail Plus → Place the card on the PDF terminal on the right → Recharge cash → Insert money
4. Precautions when charging
Transportation card balance refunds are only possible offline. Please make sure not to charge it incorrectly.
Refunds at convenience stores can be up to 30,000 won, and at Korail stations, up to 200,000 won can be refunded. The fee is 500 won.

Toss app bottom right [All] -> Toss Youth Card -> Temporarily suspend card use or report loss
