After entering the More screen of the KakaoTalk app, press the Settings icon in the upper right corner.
There are screen, theme, chat, and call menus, and below that, you enter the lab menu.
First, you must agree to use the lab function. Activate the Disabled Lab by clicking on it.
Quietly leave the chat room Press the Enable button.
With this feature, you will be able to choose to leave silently when leaving a group chat room. You don’t always have to leave quietly, but you can just press exit quietly when you want to.
If you quietly leave the chat room, you will not see a separate record of leaving the chat room. Of course, if it doesn’t appear on the group chat room profile list and the group chat room is small, there may be people who notice the number of messages read, but it’s still better than going out with a big announcement, right?
After confirming that the Quietly Leave Chat Room option is enabled, you will be returned to the chat room screen.
Go to the chat room you want to leave and press the menu in the upper right corner.
Tap the Leave chat room icon at the bottom of the menu.
On the Leave Chat Room screen, click the Quietly Leave option.
For reference, this option is only visible in group chat rooms with 3 or more people. Note that this option does not appear in 2-person 1:1 chat rooms.
After selecting Quiet Exit option, press the Exit button and you’re done!
Now, when you leave the chat room, don’t go out without notice, and quietly sneak up!
