As of 4 p.m. on the 22nd, according to the integrated zero-emission vehicle website, 55 local governments, including Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Jeju, have revealed their maximum electric vehicle subsidy amount.
The largest region is Ulleung-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, which has set aside up to 11 million won in local government subsidies for passenger vehicles. Therefore, if you add up to 6.5 million won in government subsidies, you can receive subsidies up to 17.5 million won.
As of now, Ulleung-gun is the only county with a local government subsidy of more than 10 million won.
Next, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do was found to pay 8.5 million won in local government subsidies. Including government subsidies, the maximum electric vehicle subsidy that Muan-gun can receive is 15 million won.
Gwangyang-si, Jeollanam-do, Hwasun-gun, Yeonggwang-gun, Shinan-gun, and Gyeongnam Hapcheon-gun followed with local government subsidies of 7.5 million won each.
Also, looking at the maximum subsidy for each major metropolitan organization, Busan is 2.5 million won, Daegu is 3 million won, Gwangju is 3.7 million won, and Daejeon is 3 million won.
Jeju set aside 4 million won as a local government subsidy.
However, in the case of some local governments, there remains a possibility of slightly adjusting the subsidy amount.
Seoul has not yet made it public, but considering that last year’s subsidy per passenger car was 1.8 million won, it is expected that this year’s subsidy may be similar or slightly reduced.
Seoul plans to soon disclose the maximum subsidy amount for each vehicle type to the public.
Electric vehicle subsidies include both national and local government subsidies.
Local government subsidies are paid in proportion to national subsidies, so if other conditions are the same, the amount of increase or decrease compared to last year is similar.
