일본 지하철 패스The first thing I thought about when I traveled to Tokyo, Japan was the Tokyo Metro Pass.
I didn’t know that I couldn’t get a metro pass at Narita Airport and Haneda Airport, so I wasted a day there.
I hope this will be of some help when you travel.

I bought a Tokyo Metro subway ticket through Klook.
-You can use all subways in downtown Tokyo, and the basic fare for the Tokyo subway is 170 yen.
Even a little movement costs about 200 yen, so if you ride it four or more times a day, you will definitely benefit.
Most popular attractions in Tokyo can be accessed by Tokyo Metro, including Sensoji Temple (Asakusa), Scramble Crossing (Shibuya), Kabukicho (Shinjuku), Tsukiji Market (Tsukiji), Kabukiza (Higashi Ginza), and Tokyo Tower (Kamiyacho). there is.
The next train comes right away, so you don’t have to wait long for the next train at home. On major routes, trains run every 2 to 3 minutes during morning and evening rush hours.
Age regulations – Adult: 12 years or older – Child: 6 to 11 years old
Tokyo Metro + Unlimited use of 13 Tokyo Toei Subway lines
1. Tokyo Metro: Ginza Line, Marunouchi Line, Hibiya Line, Tozai Line, Chiyoda Line, Yurakucho Line, Hanzomon Line, Namboku Line, Fukutoshin Line
2. Tokyo Toei Subway: Asakusa Line, Mita Line, Shinjuku Line, Oedo Line
※ If the pass cannot be activated at the local ticket gate, the pass can be exchanged after checking with the station staff.
** caution !! Tokyo Metro subway tickets cannot be purchased at Narita and Haneda airports, and this pass cannot be used on JR lines. **
1. Mitaka Station, where you can take the bus to Ghibli Museum (Ghibli Museum), is not within the scope of this pass. An additional JR line fee of 160 yen is required from Ogikubo Station to Mitaka Station.
2. Maihama Station, where Disneyland and Disney Sea are located, is not within the scope of this pass.
A JR line surcharge of 160 yen is required from Shinkiba Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line to Maihama Station.
3. It cannot be used at Haneda Airport or Narita Airport.
4. You cannot go to Odaiba. To go to Odaiba, take the Yurikamome from Shimbashi Station, Shiodome Station, or Toyosu Station. You can also take the Rinkai Line from Shinkiba Station.
5. This pass cannot be used on the Yamanote Line, so you will need to consider purchasing it if there is no subway in front of your accommodation.
Although upward compatibility with the JR Tokunai Pass is possible in most situations, it is very difficult to travel between Shibuya and Gotanda and Ikebukuro and Ueno, and there are no routes to Shinagawa Station. Another disadvantage is that the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line passes through Shinjuku-Sanchome Station, not Shinjuku Station, so there is some hassle when traveling from Shinjuku to Ikebukuro/Shibuya.
6. When coming from Narita Airport, take the regular Keisei Main Line train and get off at Keisei-Iawata Station. You can use the Tokyo Toei Subway Shinjuku Line, and even though the station is located quite outside, it is possible to use a Tokyo Subway ticket.
This is the cheapest way to enter Narita Airport.
If you take the Narita Express from Narita Airport, you can start from Tokyo Station, and if you take the Skyliner, you can start from Ueno Station.
7. When coming from Haneda Airport, it is most convenient to use the Keikyu Line. Most trains heading to Tokyo run directly on the Asakusa Line, so if you buy a ticket to Sengakuji Station on the Keikyu Line, you can use a Tokyo Subway ticket for everything thereafter.

**How to use the Tokyo Subway Pass ticket machine**
On the first day, I searched for over an hour to get a metro ticket at Narita Airport.
The station staff told me to go to Ueno Station after knowing that I couldn’t do it.
I paid about 20,000 yen and went to Ueno Station, which takes about an hour, got a ticket worth 7,000 won, and then took another hour to my hotel.
If I had already known where to issue tickets and the cheapest way to get in from Narita Airport, this wouldn’t have happened.
I looked into it, but I didn’t know something like this would happen with Metro Pass.
Time is money when traveling.. haha I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did and have a good trip ^^
