First, launch the Naver app and touch the profile icon at the top right of the screen.

What is a passport information certificate?
This is probably the first time you’ve heard of a document called a passport information certificate. The passport information certificate shows your passport number and expiration date. If you want to issue a passport information certificate, first select the passport you wish to issue and then touch the application button below.
You can check that a passport information certificate has been issued in your storage box, and when you select the document, you can immediately check the passport information certificate with your passport number, name, and resident registration number written on it.

After launching the KakaoTalk app, touch the Show More icon at the bottom right of the screen.
You can see the part called wallet in the yellow part at the top of the screen. Touch your wallet.
The wallet screen is divided into finance / electronic documents / identification sections. Select an electronic document.
On the electronic document screen, touch the electronic certificate application button below.

Currently, the screen has changed and the application menu on the right is displayed. On the application screen, 75 types of electronic certificates that can be applied for issuance through KakaoTalk are displayed. Scroll down to find Passport Information Certificate and touch it.

Below you will see a list of passports that can be applied for issuance. If you simply want to check your passport number or passport expiration date, you can do so right away on the screen.
If you want to issue a passport information certificate, select the passport you wish to issue on this screen and then touch the application button below.
Once the civil complaint application is completed, the passport information certificate will be issued immediately.

Once the issuance is complete, go back to the KakaoTalk > More > Wallet > Electronic Document screen and select the certificate you applied for under the Apply button.
Certificates that can be verified because their expiration date has not expired are displayed in the list. If you select the passport information certificate you want to check, you can check the certificate showing your resident registration number, passport number, and passport expiration date.
