* What is unemployment benefit?
This is a system that provides workers enrolled in employment insurance with a small amount of salary during the period of unemployment and re-employment activities, thereby helping them overcome livelihood insecurity caused by unemployment, stabilizing their lives, and supporting opportunities for re-employment.

► Repeat recipients (if the number of unemployment benefits received more than 3 times in 5 years) – 1st~3rd time: once every 4 weeks – 4th~: twice every 4 weeks

Change – Volunteer work and taking academy classes were also recognized as re-employment activities, but not recognized from May 23 – Participation in vocational psychological tests and psychological stability support programs are recognized only once each – Worknet job applications are recognized without limit (on the same day) In case of multiple cases, only 1 case is recognized)
10% for the 3rd time in 5 years, 25% for the 4th time, 40% for the 5th time, 50% for the 6th time.
Currently, you can receive unemployment benefits if you have been enrolled in employment insurance for more than 6 months (180 working days) before losing your job. We are also considering extending this to 10 months.
In addition, we plan to strengthen monitoring of unemployment benefit receipt, such as failure to participate in formal job search activities and interviews, and disqualification of unemployment benefit eligibility in case of refusal to work.
