There are two types of Ttareungyi bikes, LCD type and QR type. The LCD type (left) is an older bicycle with an LCD lock on the front of the bicycle. On the other hand, the QR type (right) is new and has a QR code-type lock on the rear wheel. The LCD type has inconveniences such as temporary locking location restrictions and non-returning at the New Ttareungi rental office.

How to rent New Ttareungi

□ Ttareungi Fee
The Ttareungi pass is divided into a commuter pass and a one-day pass. If you want to use Ttareungi for only one day, it is recommended to purchase a one-day pass. However, if you plan to use it frequently, you can use it at a cheaper price by purchasing a commuter pass. If you have purchased a 1-hour commuter pass, you can use it for one hour this morning and borrow it a few minutes later or in the afternoon after returning it. In other words, there is no limit on the number of rentals per day for a commuter pass.

You can return the Ttareungi only at the places marked in yellow/green in the photo above. Even if you lock the QR-type New Ttareungi outside the designated area, it cannot be returned. You must return it after placing it on the dedicated Ttareungi cradle.
▷ How to return the QR-type New Ttareungi
1. Place the New Ttareungi bike on the empty cradle.
2. Pull the bicycle rear wheel lock to lock it.
3. When you receive the return completion message (KakaoTalk), the return is complete.
▷ How to return the LCD type Ttareungi
1. Place the Ttareungi bike on the empty cradle.
2. Connect the lock installed on the cradle to the bicycle.
3. When you receive the return completion message (KakaoTalk), the return is complete.
– If there is no empty cradle, place the bicycle next to the bicycle on the left side, and unfasten the auxiliary lock on the left side of the bicycle terminal and connect it to the bicycle to be returned.
– If you do not receive a message even after waiting, remember the final return location and return date and call the Ttareungi Customer Center number (1599-0120). If it is not returned properly, additional charges will continue to be incurred, and after up to 4 hours, it will be considered ‘theft’ and will be reported to the police.
□ What if there is an accident while using Ttareungi?
If you have an accident while using Ttareungi, you must contact the DB Insurance Company directly. The insurance company will contact you individually when it is processed according to the public bicycle comprehensive insurance and the application is completed. However, if you or a third party suffers damage due to a defect or defect in the Ttareungi bicycle, you can contact the Seoul Facilities Corporation.
