NICE life records can be printed from those born after 2004, and those born before 2004 must visit the nearest education office, education support office, school, or local government in person to apply. When printing NICE life records, a joint certificate (public certificate) is required at the last step, so if you prepare it in advance, you can process it quickly.

Select the education office that the student belongs to among the Seoul Metropolitan City/Busan Metropolitan City/Daegu Metropolitan City/Incheon Metropolitan City/Gwangju Metropolitan City/Daejeon Metropolitan City/Ulsan Metropolitan City/Sejong Special Self-Governing City/Gyeonggi-do/Gangwon-do/Chungcheongbuk-do/Chungcheongnam-do Offices of Education.

3. Go to the school life record book in the online issuance civil service. Enter your name and resident registration number in order, and log in with the prepared joint certificate (public certificate). You must log in with the joint certificate of the party issuing the school life record book.
※ Public certificates can be used for both Internet banking and general certificates. However, revoked or expired certificates cannot be used for login, so you must reissue them and use them. In addition, joint certificates issued on the NICE National Service homepage cannot be used for login.

4. After checking the information, you can search, print, and save the school life record in the issuance history search according to the purpose.
– If the birth certificate cannot be printed, try saving the PDF as Hancom PDF or Microsoft print to PDF, an Explorer. If you select Chrome or Micro Edge, printing may not be possible.
– When you open the PDF file, you will need to enter a password, and the password is the applicant’s 6-digit date of birth. Example) 050809
– The issued birth certificate has a validity period of 3 months.
