1. How to check speed signal violation 1분전

You can check speed and signal violations in the recent unmanned enforcement history menu on the ‘National Police Agency Traffic Complaints 24’ website.

To check the recent unmanned enforcement history, you need to log in with a joint certificate.

If you log in, you can check the speed and signal violation history in the ‘Recent Unmanned Enforcement History’ menu.

However, speed signal violations cannot be viewed in real time. It takes about 3 to 4 days to read the contents of the violation in the unmanned enforcement video room and register it on the traffic complaint website of the National Police Agency.

A more convenient way to know about violations is to subscribe to the ‘text notification service’.

You can apply by clicking ‘Apply for notification service’ -> ‘Application for text message notification service’ in the top menu of the Traffic Civil Complaints 24 website of the National Police Agency and agree to receive the text message service with your name, date of birth, mobile phone number, and SMS.

If you complete the application, you will be notified by text message when the fine (preliminary, primary, secondary) notice is sent.

2. Appeal against speed signal violation
If you have received a notice for negligence, but there is something unfair about it, you can file an objection on the National Police Agency website.

An objection can be filed within 10 days from the issuance date of the notice. Since the unmanned camera is cracking down and it is a human job, there may be mistakes, so if you explain the situation well, you may be able to get a fine.

3. The difference between fines and fines
If you receive a speeding or traffic light fine, you can choose to pay either the fine or the fine.

Generally, the amount of the fine is lower than the fine, but if you select and pay the fine because it is cheap, it will remain on the traffic violation record and demerit points will be imposed. The reason for this is that it will be easy to understand if you look at the explanation of fines and fines below.

1) What is a penalty?
Fines are imposed on the vehicle, not the driver, and are imposed on the owner of the vehicle as the driver’s identity cannot be identified by unmanned enforcement cameras. No penalty points are awarded as the fine is for the vehicle.

In addition, fines for negligence are notified in advance before the actual payment, and 20% of the fine can be reduced if the fine is paid voluntarily within the notice period.

2) What is a fine?
A fine is a fine imposed on the driver at the time of the violation. Penalties and fines will be imposed if the on-site police officer cracks down on traffic violations, illegal U-turns, and not wearing seatbelts. It starts with a minimum of 15 penalty points, and the penalty points are doubled as the violation level goes up.

If you receive a penalty bill for the above reasons, please make sure to pay the penalty even if the fine is expensive.

For reference, if you sign up for the ‘good driving mileage’ system, which is a must for drivers, you can accumulate annual mileage points, which can be deducted from penalty points. Please refer to the article below for details on how to sign up and how to sign up.
