[Seoul = Newspim] Reporter Taehee Han = Carrot Insurance (Carrot), a digital non-life insurance company, announced on the 14th that it will join hands with NHN Payco to provide discounts of up to 30% on overseas travel insurance.
Previously, NHN Payco introduced an all-in-one ‘Travel Pack’ with major financial companies such as insurance, banks, and credit cards. Carrot includes overseas travel insurance products in its travel pack. Carrot Overseas Travel Insurance provides basic contract coverage for injury, death, and subsequent disability during overseas travel, as well as damage to personal belongings (excluding loss), aircraft and baggage delay costs, serious accident rescue and repatriation costs, passport reissue costs after loss, and overseas injuries and diseases. It provides special coverage for various types of coverage, including overseas medical expenses.
When a customer signs up for Carrot overseas travel insurance through Travel Pack, a 20% discount on insurance premiums (up to 10,000 won) is immediately provided. Additionally, an amount equivalent to 10% of the insurance premium is accumulated as NHN Payco points (up to 5,000 points).
A Carrot official said, “We signed this partnership for customers who forgot to prepare travel insurance, which is a great help in various incidents and accidents that may occur during overseas travel, or who hesitate due to the cost burden,” and added, “Travel Pack’s overseas travel insurance. “I hope that more people can have happy and safe travel experiences through insurance,” he said.
