1. FAST Internet speed measurement
The first way to measure internet speed is through FAST. Please search for ‘FAST internet speed test’ in the search bar and access it.

Measuring internet speed
When you access the FAST Internet speed measurement site, your Internet speed will be measured automatically without any action. At this time, you just need to wait quietly, so let’s wait.

Please wait and the speed measurement will be completed. Once completed, a number will be displayed below as ‘Current Internet Speed’ as shown above. I got a speed of 93Mbps.
I thought my internet speed was quite fast and comfortable, but when I saw other people’s speeds exceeding 140Mbps, I realized that I wasn’t that fast. Now let’s click ‘View detailed information’ under the number.

If you click the View Details button, you will see data that allows you to check additional speeds as shown above. Additional data includes latency, no traffic, and high traffic speeds, and you can even check the upload speed.
If you have confirmed everything, click the gear-shaped settings button in the red box. There are options such as parallel connection and test time (seconds). You can set them as you wish and measure again.
2. Bench fee
Just search for ‘Benchbee’ in the search bar and access it. If you search for Internet speed measurement on a search engine, you will find many speed measurement sites. Personally, I think Benchbee and FAST are good.

If you click the ‘Measure Speed’ button located in the center, you will see a button to start measurement as shown above and an option button to select the speed of the Internet product. If you do not know your Internet speed, please select ‘I don’t know’ and click Start Measurement.

Measurement result
My speed measurement results showed download speeds of 90.1Mbps, upload speeds of 67.3Mbps, latency of 4.08ms, and jitter of 1.96ms. It’s not too bad or too good, so I’m using it with some satisfaction.
Internet speed average
At this point, some people may be curious about the average internet speed, but it is difficult to answer this question accurately.
Upload/download speeds vary depending on the internet speed and internet product you use, and also vary depending on the location environment and region.
Therefore, find out what Internet product you are using through your telecommunication company and the theoretical speed will be over 70%. If the number is lower than this, we recommend that you request an Internet check from your telecommunication company and have it checked.

What you need to know before measuring internet speed
When measuring speed, you must use a laptop or PC. However, it is more accurate to measure the speed by connecting a wired UTP cable rather than connecting the laptop to Wi-Fi.
If you do not have a wired connection device, connect to a 5GHGZ wireless Wi-Fi using a laptop or smartphone using a room with a wired or wireless router instead of a 2.4GHz signal, and measure the speed. If the speed is around 70% of the provided speed, then only then. You can think that there is nothing wrong.
