If you no longer plan to use Watcha after the two-week free trial, you must cancel Watcha before the free trial ends. You can cancel Watcha at any time, but if you cancel during the free trial period, it will end immediately, so it is best to write down the actual payment date in the reminder and cancel before the payment is made.
To cancel Watcha, click your profile at the top right of the PC homepage and select [Settings]. If you scroll down to the bottom of the settings screen, you will see the phrase “If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can apply for cancellation” in small letters. You can click [Cancellation Request] in the middle of the text and follow the Watcha cancellation procedure.
You can also unsubscribe from the mobile app. Open the Watcha app, tap [My Page] at the bottom, and tap the settings icon at the top left of the screen. On the settings screen, click [Account Settings], then click [Cancel] at the bottom and follow the Watcha cancellation procedures.
If automatic payment occurred because you forgot to cancel Watcha, request a refund. However, there are criteria for refunds. All criteria below must be met.
To refund a Watcha ticket, click your profile at the top right of the PC homepage and select [Customer Center]. On the customer center screen, click [Refund] and click [I want to cancel (refund) payment] to go to the post. There will be instructions on how to get a refund depending on your payment method.
You can also request a refund through the mobile app. Open the Watcha app, tap [My Page] at the bottom, and tap the settings icon at the top left of the screen. On the settings screen, click [Customer Center] to go to the Customer Center. On the Customer Center screen, click [Refund] and then [I want to cancel (refund) my payment] to receive instructions on how to refund according to your payment method.
After requesting a refund, if you go back to [I want to cancel my payment (refund)], the notification will change to a refund request completion notification. Refund processing will take approximately 3-5 business days, so please wait. Refunds are processed based on the date of request, so don’t worry if you don’t receive a refund response within 7 days.
